Early this year, a group of young people set out to raise ₹20 lakh to help New Life School expand its reach. Together, our community raised over ₹22 lakhs,
today we are taking on a bigger mission. securing the future of new life school.
There is a Challenge...
New Life School has never owned its premises. It operates out of rented space on 90 Feet Road, Dharavi. With redevelopment projects reshaping the area, a school that has run for almost 4 decades should have a home of its own as a permanent alternative.
Now, it faces a defining moment, one that requires strategic infrastructure expansion to secure its future and protect the educational journey of its students.
Goal 1 : ₹1.5 Crore
To establish a permanent home for New Life School, ensuring that future generations of children continue to have access to quality education despite the uncertainties of redevelopment.
Goal 2 : Gov permissions
Government permissions for higher grades, grade 1 and above. We are currently only till Kindergarten

Note: Step By Step foundation is a trust. Formed to educate the underprivileged. It is a Charitable organisation registered under the charity commissioner of Mumbai. We started the Trust as friends who have the same vision for educating the underprivileged. We started small, helping students in paying their fees, but today it has grown. To take care of approximately 560 students through New Life School. Because of the good work, we also could get the 80-G certificate, which will make our donors tax-free.
