Dharavi Rising is a campaign to  expand New Life School so it can reach more children, provide quality education and change the future of our beautiful nation, India!!

OUR GOALS

1. Start Two New Branches of New Life School in Dharavi

Dharavi has more children eager to learn than existing classrooms can handle. So we’re expanding, opening two new school branches inside the community to make quality education accessible for hundreds of young students.

2. Support Both New Schools for One Full Year (₹20,00,000)

₹20 Lakhs will keep both schools running for an entire year, covering:

  • Rent for both school spaces

  • Salaries for teachers

  • Books, stationery, and classroom supplies

  • Electricity, maintenance, and essentials

A full year of uninterrupted education.
A full year of stability for children who need it most.

3. Secure Government Permissions for Higher Grades

Currently, New Life School can only operate up to Senior KG.
To truly change futures, the school needs official approvals for:

  • 1st Standard

  • 2nd Standard

  • 3rd Standard

These permissions are the gateway to becoming a fully recognized primary school, giving children a real path forward instead of a dead end.

Note:

Step By Step foundation is a trust. formed to educate the underprivileged.  It is a Charitable organisation registered under the charity commissioner of Mumbai.  We started the Trust as friends who have the same vision for educating the underprivileged.
We started small, helping students in paying their fees, but today it has grown. To take care of approximately 600 students through New Life School.
Because of the good work, we also could get the 80-G certificate, which will make our donors tax-free.
